Late one night after walking our dogs, I sat down to process a difficult question: why did I fight so hard to keep them? A few weeks prior, our dogs killed a rabbit, dragged it into our house, and gutted it on our living room couch. My wife wanted them gone. Since having our two kids, we've neglected these dogs. We don't walk them like we used to. They've been acting out. We failed them. But I fought to keep them. This is me trying to understand why. This isn't polished. Just me, late at night, thinking out loud about commitment, responsibility, and what it means when the promises we make get hard to keep. Note: I shot this video a while back and am only just now getting around to uploading it. YouTube URL: https://youtu.be/Mxn1DlGvrZ4
